Butternut Chardonnay, California 2010

The wine lives up to its name – a buttery, nutty Chardonnay that reflects its Napa Valley vineyards heritage. The 2010 Butternut combines grapes from a vineyard in Carneros, a Napa area punctuated by a colder climate and continual, cool bay breezes. The second vineyard is located just west of Napa in a small, secluded microclimate that is a little warmer with less bay-breeze influence. The combination of these two vineyards results in a complex chardonnay with a variety of round fruit flavors.

Domaine Hochart Rose, Cotes de Provence 2011

Sourced from 5 different grape varieties(Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Mourvedre), it’s salmon pink in color and loaded with dark red fruits. Lively, fresh and dry, this one has good structure, concentration and intensity enough to satisfy you red wine drinkers out there. Serve between 50-55 degrees with any grilled meats, ham, salmon, pizza or Asian dishes.

Stephen Vincent Crimson, California 2009

Stephen Vincent Crimson delivers a fine California take on a classic Cotes du Rhone in a good vintage. A blend of 75% Syrah and 25% Cabernet, the 2009 continues a string of successes for this crowd pleaser. Black plum and a hint of blood orange on the nose leads to a creamy, soft, juicy mouthful of plummy fruit with notes of chocolate and a touch of refreshing citrus at the end. Fine on its own and paired well with beef, lamb, duck, pasta, etc. Excellent value.
