Belle Meade Bourbon 10 Year Single Barrel is Here!
Bell Meade 10 Year Bourbon
Sherlock’s Single Barrel Selection
Our hand-selected barrel of Bell Meade is finally here! This is a one-of-a-kind bottling of Bell Meade Bourbon, aged for 10 years and bottled at a generous 110.3 proof. Each bottle has been hand labeled and individually numbered. This single barrel offering was specifically selected for its outstanding flavor profile during a sampling of barrels from very limited reserve stock from Nelson’s Greenbrier Distillery. The flavor characteristics of each barrel are unique, thus there is no other bourbon in the world quite like what’s in this bottle.
Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery was founded by Charles Nelson in 1853 in Greenbrier, Tennessee. By 1895, the distillery was producing over 300,000 gallons of whiskey annually, more than any other distillery in Tennessee. After Charles passed away, his wife Louisa took over and became one of the few women in history to own and operate a distillery. Business continued under her leadership until the doors were forced to close due to Prohibition. The old Greenbrier distillery was resurrected in the early 2000’s by brothers Charlie and Andy Nelson, descendants of Charles. Once again, Nelson’s Greenbrier Distillery is alive and well and producing world-class Tennessee Whiskey. Quantities of our single barrel selection are extremely limited, so make sure to grab one while they last!
